Micron pen on handmade paper. I made the paper out of abaca with seashell, mica flake, and sea grass inclusions. Size is roughly 8x10.
The drawing is a piece of coral found at a MD beach. It is about 1 inch by 3/4 of an inch. This drawing, like all my drawings, was done from observation. This is another in a series I am working on for my solo show in the fall. Feedback is greatly appreciated...right now I am contemplating adding an ink wash in the background in the same fashion as my other drawings. I'm not really sure of the ink wash... |
